This policy together with our general website Terms and Conditions and cookie policy, explain in detail what personal information we collect from you, how it is processed and kept, and how you can make changes to your data or have your data removed from our systems.

This document aims to provide clarity of data consent in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA), the EU Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR) and the corrigendum published in the OJEU of 23 May 2018. (the Act) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (as defined by the Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communications (Amendments etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (the UK GDPR) (together the Data Protection Legislation).

We may collect and process the following data types:

Any information that you provide by filling in forms on our website echomaster-eu.com, including information you provide when registering for our newsletter and requesting further services. For example, by downloading a catalogue or filling out our contact form.

This information includes, but is not limited to:

–          Your Name and/or your Company Name

–          Your Contact Details (email and/or phone number) and Home and/or Business Address

–          A Login and Password related to your Account with us

If you contact us, we may also keep a record of that correspondence until such time that your enquiry has been resolved. Any details of your visit to our website, including traffic data, location data, weblogs and communication data will be kept using cookies for 30 days after you’ve excepted our cookie notice. The cookie notice is shown every time upon your first time visit to our site and a returning visit after 30 days. It is not shown during interim visits.

  1. Why do we collect your data?

We require the collection of your personal information for service delivery and billing purposes related to your on-site user experience as well as any queries you may place with us and/or products you may purpose.  We may also collect your personal information when you contact us via phone, a contact form, email or a local trade contact. This includes but is not limited to, questions about products, deliveries, returns, complaints, survey responses, competition responses and general questions about our catalogue.

We will always ask your permission to use your personal data to send you marketing and promotion-related materials. These include, but are not limited to, voucher codes, event information, emails and promotions. You can give your permission to sign up to our newsletter via our ‘sign up to our newsletter’ field in our website footer. In order to protect our customers and ourselves from fraud and theft, we may pass on information that we obtain from making identity checks and other information in our customer records, including how you conduct your account, to other group companies, and to financial and other organisations (including law enforcement agencies) involved in fraud prevention and detection.

  1. Where and how long do we store your personal data?

It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. E.g. a secure server location. We must keep your information for as long as it is necessary to complete our obligations under any contract made. This includes, but is not limited to, order fulfilment and the anticipation of returns according to your returns right.

We keep the information for anyone who still has outstanding obligations under any contract made. This includes, but is not limited to, outstanding invoices and investigating fraud cases.

We delete all cookies related to our website and your browser experience every 30 days.

We keep your personal information in our back-end system for a max. of 38 months. After this, all data is automatically anonymised.

  • To be sent a copy of the personal information we keep of you
  • To correct any personal information that is incorrect or outdated
  • To remove your personal information when you wish us to delete your information after we have no more necessarily need to keep it
